North Point Branch of the BCPLAs a kid growing up in Dundalk I was thrilled when they built this library. I spent many a day browsing the shelves. I used to tell myself someday I'd read all the books in this library. Never did, but I tried.
University of Maryland at College Park Graduated from here in early 1977 with a BS in Conservation and Resource Development -- Fish and Wildlife Management from the College of Agriculture (now the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.)
VIETNAM VETERANS HOME PAGE I served in Vietnam in the US Army in 1971.
Terrapin Trail Club Home Page During my stay the the University of Maryland , College Park I lived and breathed trail club. During my senior year I served as VP of the Club. I spent almost every weekend in the wilds on a trail club trip and many hours manning the club "office" on the third floor of the student union.
Gunpowder Falls State Park I started my career in parks at this park in the early 1970's. Beginning as a park laborer and later as a seasonal ranger I worked in the Central Region and later the Hereford area of the park.
Patapsco Valley State Park In the late 1970's and early 1980's I worked as a full-time park ranger here in the Hilton/Glen Artney areas.
Downs Park I started here as a park ranger in 1982 and was promoted to park superintendent in 1989. This is presently where I live and work.
