Dear Folks,

Well, I'm through working for the army. Yesterday at lunch was my last meal as headcount. I am now more or less free to do nothing at all. I asked this morning when I would start clearing. Sgt. Moore said I'd get my clearing papers Monday. That means all I've got to do this week is take that urinalysis test one day,  probably go in to the 24th Evac Hospital on Thursday or Friday. Also I've got to get a haircut today. I doubt if they'd let me out of the country if they can't see my ears.

Took a ride to Long Binh with a truck taking some of our officers to 90th Replacement. Capt. Berry, Capt Higgason, Capt. Johnson, Capt. McCullum, Capt. Walters and Capt. Carlson all DEROS today.

They were some of the pilots during Lam Son 719. They all got drops too.

I mailed 21 slides to you yesterday afternoon.
