Dear Folks,

We've had a cold spell for the last couple days and it's still here. The temps must be in the 60's and I'm freezing. I can't even imagine what it will be like to get back to the world where it really gets cold.

Like I said yesterday I will be home for Christmas or very soon after. And unless something changes between now and then it should be finni army. I'll be going to Oakland. Probably get there on the 24th US time. I don't know for sure how long separation processing takes. They'll probably have to issue greens and take a physical. It should only take a day at the most.

I guess I should have your work schedule so I know whether I could get a ride or not from wherever I end up. Really though after being gone for 11 months I wouldn't hesitate to spend the money for a cab.

One of the first things I have to do after I get home is to buy some clothes. I'll worry about that when the time comes. Right now I'm just counting the days.32 to go.

Rick
