Dear Folks,

I got up about 7:30 this morning so I'd have time to label the slides I got yesterday and send them to you today. I'm keeping a couple slides of "Big Al" He wants to have Nick's print some pictures of them so he can send them to his wife.

That was real good service I got on these slides. I sent them to Kodak in Hawaii.

I hit the jackpot yesterday in the mail. I got the slides, 3 letters, one of the letters was the one that was missing because of the missing APO#. I also got 2 checks from Uncle Sam. It was TDY for the last two trips to Da Nang $.6.48 in one and $42.48 in the other. I would have sent them home but the checks aren't any good outside Vietnam. So I cashed them at the PX. I'll just hang on to it. That way at the end of the month I can send home $300 and still have over $100 left.

I got a lawn chair yesterday at the PX for $4.65. I noticed that the swimming pool was filled up again. I'll have to go check it out. I know it won't last very long.

Well, time to wrap it up, seal it up, and send it off. Got to catch some sunshine in my new lawn chair.

Rick
