Dear Folks,

Running a little late today. Just got out of bed ten minutes ago. This night shift is really rough. We quit last night at about 8 pm and went to the club.

It's almost time to go check the mail. I'm on the lookout for some magazines you said you sent and in a day or two I can expect that next goodie box.

I wish this crazy weather would straighten out. It's still cloudy and drizzly. Last week you could feel the hot dry air just moving in. This week we haven't had a hint of it.

I'm not sure when we get paid. It should be either today or tomorrow. I doubt if they pay on Sunday. I should be able to send $300. I've got $20 plus $5 that a guy owes me plus the $48 extra from my pay will give me a little over $70 for this month.

Rick
