Dear Folks,

I've been sitting here for 15 minutes trying to think of something different to write about, but all I can think of is the same old stuff. I was on detail today to Long Binh to pick up a pre-fabricated bunker, it rained, no mail, I didn't find any more about the E-5. Davis won't say any more about that or the trip to Vung Tau no matter how much I bug him.

As you can see things haven't changed a bit. It's raining again. I asked for a commanders certificate for $600 this morning before I went on detail, but I didn't get back to get it till 4:30 pm. So I'll have to get another one tomorrow. It's only good for one day.

I know all this original news really excites you. So I'll leave you to ponder it while I get some sleep.

Rick
A bummer is having beans and corn with cooked cabbage.
