Dear Folks,

Spent the day at China Beach. It was sunny but the wind was coming from inland and it was blowing sand all over which made it rather uncomfortable. The water was nice though.

We had a rocket attack about midnight last night. Nothing close by. We got the word tonight that we go south tomorrow morning at 8:30 which is fine with me because I don't really like the idea of flying where we're supposed to fly. They'll probably give us just enough time to get down there and de-rig the ship. Then they'll call us back up again. Army organization strikes again.

Well, I'm expecting a whole pile of mail when I get back. Never did get that commanders certificate to send the money home.

Rick
