Dear Folks,

Well, I've got to go to work in an hour. Working night shift today. Sgt. Davis just started this night shift deal so I don't know how it will work out.

I heard Capt. Scriven say that we'll be going back up north on Sunday. Sounds good!

No promotion today. Maybe tomorrow or the next day...

Got two letters this morning. One from the 16th and two from the17th.

I didn't go to the noon formation because I have off during the day today. Kelm said they announced my name to go see some personnel specialist on Mon. or Tues. I can't imagine what for. Maybe their going to try and talk me into transferring to another unit or something. I'm hoping to be up north on Monday anyway.

Paulson left this morning. I bought his fan from him. He didn't want to have to lug it with him.

Finally thinned this room out. There were seven people in here at one time. Now there are only four. I was sleeping on a top bunk. We don't have bunk beds in the room now.

Bought a case of root beer to stock the frig this afternoon and some Vienna sausage to snack on tonight. Had fish fillet at the club for lunch today. Must have been shark or something. Guess I'll have to go back to hamburgers. I might try the shrimp and the lobster one though.

Rick
