Dear Folks,

Just got back from the EM Club. They had a band tonight from Soul, Korea. They were pretty good. Not as good as the Australian one we saw in Da Nang. It will take quite a band to top them.

Supposed to go back to Da Nang tomorrow. The mission is supposed to kick off at one tomorrow morning. They sent Paulson up this afternoon.

I think the first ten pictures on the roll of slide film I have in the camera now may not turn out good. I had the film speed set wrong. I don't know how it will effect the pictures. Slide film has a different setting than print film and I forgot to change it.

Got 4 letters written the 25th from Lee, Dad, Jean and Mom.
Jean - Can't say I really like it here, but I've got to be here so I make the best of it. Your letters make it that much easier so keep them coming. The rockets don't hurt my ears they just shake the walls a little.
Mom - No hot water here at Long Thanh. We've got good showers but only cold water. At Da Nang we had hot water most of the time. Even had flush toilets. Down here we have an outhouse - a four seater!!! While we're on the subject how about dropping a roll of toilet paper in the next box of goodies. It's in short supply around here.
Dad - That wasn't Confucius that was me.

Well that's about it for now. If everything goes according to schedule the next letter you receive will be from Da Nang.

One more thing. I put a $100 money order in the mail today. You should have gotten it. I made it out to myself. I don't think you'll have any trouble putting it in the bank. If you do I guess I may have to make them out in someone else's name. Let me know.

Rick
