Questions about off-farm parties

How much space is needed for pony rides and petting animals?
This really depends on the size of the party. We will arrive with truck/horse trailer and will require parking. Our primary requirement is a soft surface such as soil, grass or mulch. We can generally work with whatever space you have available. Please discuss this with us when you book your party.

Is it messy and smelly?
There is sometimes manure and bedding on the ground. We clean up during and after the event. If the ground is soft/wet the ponies may leave a track. The pigs sometimes root in the grass within their enclosures. Our animals are clean and healthy. We bring a hand cleaning station for your guests to wash their hands after touching the animals.

How many pony rides can you get in one hour?
We suggest planning for about 12 pony rides per hour. That provides 5 minutes per rider for mounting, riding, dis-mounting and petting the pony.
