Dear Folks,

Ten months down and one to go. Or should I say seventeen months down and one to go.

Looks like I'll have to go flying one day soon. I don't have any flight time for this month. Got to have 4 hours to get paid. Looks like we're going to have a whole month without any radio relay.

Seacord still didn't get his orders yet. He's scheduled to leave on the 14th. He's still got another year to go. I guess it takes a while to find someplace to sent him.

I got a letter from Deskin yesterday. He's in Dalat now.

Still working the night shift. I can't complain about it either. Got done last night about 8 pm. Didn't have any avionics to do, but I helped Mr. Nakamura with some wiring on 073. I wouldn't have done that but he found out we didn't have any work to do. Can't get on the wrong side of these lifers or they might do away with night shift altogether. I wish this unit had an aircraft electrician. These U-21's are worse than washing machines.

I guess that's it for now. In about 30 days I'll be on that freedom bird.

Rick
