Dear Folks,
I was sitting out here in the sun but the sun just went behind a big cloud. It's clear to the west but cloudy to the east. I think those are the clouds that rained on us a little yesterday evening. You can't tell it rained though. Everything is just about dried up already.
I got the magazines you sent and a letter with some pictures from Aunt Shirl. Also got 3 letters from you. I don't know what happened to the other one. They always come in pairs.
I heard that Harp, one of the rotor wing crew chiefs got a 147 day DEROS drop. He leaves in about 20 days and gets out of the army about 179 days early.
It's hard to believe it's Friday already. I can hardly keep up with the days.
