Dear Folks,

Didn't write a letter for the 13th except the one I wrote in the morning. I told you I flew yesterday morning. I also flew last night from 7 pm to midnight. The weather wasn't quite as bad as the night before. I'm scheduled to fly again at 3 pm today. I think I'll take my camera along this time.

Got a surprise in the mail yesterday. No mail from you, but I got a letter from Deskin. He was that older guy who left on a transfer while I was in Vung Tau. Inside was another letter he wrote about a month earlier that got returned to him. He finally got the address right.

I got to sleep last night about midnight and they came and woke me up at 7:45 am to go check 073. Brewer said he had problems. I couldn't find anything wrong. They worked fine for me. A little bit of operator malfunction I guess.

Think I'll take some time now to write Deskin a letter. He wasn't expecting his to get through. Oh, yes. I talked to the guy in flight operations. He said I was put in for an air medal yesterday. He's still checking on the orders for wings. It's kind of hard to get an air medal without filling the requirements for wings.

Rick
