Dear Folks,

Standby all day today. No flights at all. Looks like the ground finally got it together. They are supposed to send one ship south tomorrow with Claybough and Kadramas on it. Capt. Kinzel was going to leave it up to Sylvester what radio operators he sent south but I wasn't about to leave it to chance whether I stayed or not. I made sure Kinzel knew there are really only two RTO's, me and O'Briant. The other guys are Avionics people. Can't see going back to Long Thanh and pulling details when I can stay here an do nothing. And besides if I go south they might try to send me back to Vung Tau to fix those last three banks. They are in such bad shape it would take forever.

No mail plane today. I borrowed Murphy's cassette player and listened to that tape I got the first part of the week.

Got to go give O'Briant tomorrows key list.

Rick
