Dear Folks,

Didn't get a chance to write last night. At about 9:30 I found out I was supposed to be on guard duty at bunker two. I couldn't find the armor so I wasn't able to get my weapon. Just grabbed my poncho and walked out there. It rained this morning and I almost froze to death.

Yesterday Davis told me I'd better start studying my current events. That means I must be going up for that board. I was supposed to go to Vung Tau today but the guard duty messed up that deal. I took the morning off to catch up on my sleep. From what I understand I won't be staying in Vung Tau. I'll be coming back here every day.

Oh, yes. I finally mailed that money order home. At about noon yesterday I mailed $600. I had it made out to Savings Bank of Baltimore, so all you should have to do is write 'for deposit only' on the back.

Rick
A bummer is just a plain old bummer.
