Dear Folks,

The mail service is back to it's old form again. Got 4 letters this morning from the1st and 2nd of August. And this afternoon I got one letter written on the 31st of July. Also got a package of magazines.

There is a lot of talk about this place standing down in September. They even asked what stateside assignments we would prefer if it happened. 2nd Signal Group is supposed to move to Korea except for the Aviation part. The planes will still be a part of the 1st Signal Brigade in Vietnam. Nobody seems to know what will happen to radio relay. If it stays here, I'll probably go wherever it goes. This stand down isn't a rumor any more it's a fact. But it's not definite what will happen to Aviation.. I guess we'll wait till September and see.

Spent the day in Avionics doing nothing.

Rick
A bummer is when mamma-san loses your red silk jockey drawers.
