Dear Folks,

Just got back from the EM club. They had an Australian band tonight. Really good. My ears are still ringing. Really loud too!

I was on standby for Avionics today so naturally it was decided that 000 had to be de-rigged at 6:30 am this morning. Seacord and I took the radio banks out and then went back to sleep.

Had lunch at the mess hall today. Some tough roast beef and a few odds and ends.

Spent the afternoon at the photo lab with Seacord. I printed a few of his old negatives to get the hang of it. I was going to try and print some of the color negatives I have. I would only be able to get black and white pictures though since there are no facilities for color. But just when I  was about ready to start I got word that 013 had trouble with a VHF radio so I had to take care of that. By the time I got back Seacord was closing up the shop and getting ready to go to the club and take some pictures of the band.

It has been cloudy and drizzly all day. The sun was shining for a short while this morning but it didn't last long.

Didn't eat supper today. Had a few snacks of French fries at the club.

First chance I get this week I'll go to work on those negatives. I'll let you know how they turn out.

Guess that's it for now. Tomorrow is D-day, 4 months down and 8 to go.

Rick
