Long Thanh North

Dear Folks,
Here I am again. Another hot day here at Long Thanh. I went to Long Binh this morning and put in for TDY pay. Also had my pictures taken for flight record. I got back here about 11 am and had lunch at the mess hall. Fried hot dogs and potatoes. I think the potatoes were supposed to be home fries. Pretty bad imitation though.
Spent the afternoon in Avionics. Even had to work a little. Had to put a couple mike cords in a chopper. It wasn't actually a hard job. But I was working up over my head and it was pretty tiring. Actually worked a little 'overtime', if there is such a thing in the army. Didn't get done till 5:30 pm.
Had supper at the club. BLT and 2 orders fries. No worry about getting fat. Whatever I eat I sweat off during the day. Sorry to hear you didn't get any mail.
