Dear Folks,

March 27th -- that has a fishy ring to it. Seems to me that was a good yellow perch day on the Corsica in '67. See if I'm right about that.

I found my pen today. It was at the Air Force Mess Hall where I usually eat lunch.

Big day today! Duff shaved his mustache.

It was sunny and hot today. Went out to the airfield this morning to help Duff put a floor mike switch in 061.  That's not actually our job, but there aren't any avionics people up here and the crew chief won't do it. So we get stuck with it. We were going to do it this morning but Murphy decided that he wanted to put an altitude indicator or something like that in so we had to go back this afternoon to put the switch in.

The Rice Paddy Inn has been closed for inventory. It finally opened this evening. They wouldn't let me wear that shirt with all the patches on it in the RPI tonight. Some new policy. I wear one of those striped t-shirts under it, so I just took off the shirt and put it over my shoulder. Don't have much choice but to play their stupid game.

I finished off a roll of slide film today. It didn't seem like I got the full 20 pictures from that roll. I guess I'll find out when I get it developed.

No mail today and I guess that's it for now.

Rick
